International Character Information
International characters are limited to 64 characters stored in codes 0 to 31 and
128 t o255. Although these characters are not normally accessible, the ESC “R”
command makes these characters available 12 at a time.
The 12 characters are available in positions 35, 36, 64, 91, 92, 93, 94, 96, 123,
124, 125, and 126 of the ASCII character table as seen in the next table.
Hebrew Character Set
These Hebrew characters (decimal values 65 through 91) are supported when
you specify the Hebrew character set in the Select National Character Set
control code.
