Preliminary Requirements
Before you
start
to
reconfigure your LAN type, refer
to
Chapter
3
and
4
to
1. Shut down your controller's. application
program
and
operating system.
2.
Turn
OFF
your controller
and
unplug all cords
and
cables from
it
and
any
attached
expanders.
3.
Access
the
controller's
internal
assemblies.
LAN Jumper Location
A
jumper
on
the
top
of
the
LAN
board
selects
the
LAN type. Figure 8-1 shows
the
two positions.

pair

needlenose pliers
to
lift
the
jumper
up
and
place on
the
other
position.
