Removal and Replacement Procedures - Ultra-Slim Desktop (USDT) Chassis
8.4 MultiBay Device

CAUTION: The MultiBay device must be removed from the chassis before the front panel assembly is
removed. Failure to remove the MultiBay device will result in severe damage to the computer.
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Section 8.1).
2. Remove the access panel (Section 8.3).
3. Unlock the MultiBay device by pushing down on the green locking lever on top of the
MultiBay drive cage 1 an then pushing it to the right 2.
4. Eject the MultiBay device by sliding the front-mounted eject lever to the left 1 then, pull the
device out of the device bay 2.
To install the MultiBay device, reverse the removal procedures.
Lock the device in place if desired.
