4. Lift the assembly out of the computer (4).
NOTE: The plastic power button can be removed, once the board is removed.
Reverse this procedure to install the power button board.

To remove the volume board, use this procedure and illustration.

Before removing the volume board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 40).
2. Remove the display panel (see Display panel on page 42).
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 46).
4. Remove the speakers (see Speakers with antennas on page 55).
Remove the volume board:
1. Disconnect the volume board cable from the system board (1).
2. Disconnect the volume board cable from the volume board (2).
3. Remove the two Phillips M1.4 × 1.9 screws (3) that secure the assembly to the computer.
