3. Lift up on the battery and push on the back of it with a flat-head screwdriver to remove the
battery from its holder.

CAUTION: Only lift the battery high enough to clear the holder. Excessive stress on the
battery holder retaining clip may damage the clip.
Replacing the System Battery
1. Perform system battery removal described above.
2. Lift up on the battery holder retaining clip with a flat-head screwdriver and slide the battery
into the holder. The positive (+) terminal of the battery faces up.
CAUTION: Only lift the battery high enough to clear the holder. Excessive stress on the
battery holder retaining clip may damage the clip.
3. Replace the cover.
4. Reconnect all power and external cables and turn on the system.
