ProcedureProcedure
1. Power down the server.
2. If installed, release the cable management arm .
3. Remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
4. Do one of the following:
Extend the server from the rack .
Remove the server from the rack .
5. Remove the access panel.
6. Do one of the following:
If an expansion card with internal cables is installed on the riser, disconnect the cables from the card.
If cables are connected to the riser SlimSAS ports, disconnect the cables.
7. When the rear 2 SFF drive option is mounted on the secondary riser cage, disconnect the 2 SFF drive backplane cables.
8. Remove the riser cage:
Primary riser cage
Secondary riser cage
