MP Router backbone fabric
An MP Router backbone fabric consists of at least one MP Router and includes all MP Routers and
B-series Fibre Channel switches connected to the MP Router through E_Ports. The MP Router backbone
fabric is subject to all standard B-series Fibre Channel switch fabric rules. The MP Router counts as
one Fibre Channel switch in terms of the maximum number of switches in a B-series fabric.
