Procedure
1. Power down the server on page 22.
2. Disconnect the power cord from the AC source, and then from the server.
3. Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server
.
4.
Remove the front bezel on page 23.
5. Install the LFF drive on page 32.
6. Install the front bezel on page 25.
7. Connect all peripheral cables to the server
.
8. Connect the power cord to the server power jack, and then to the AC source.
9.
Power up the server on page 22.
10. Determine the status of the server drives from the drive LED definitions.
11. T
o configure drive arrays, do one of the following:
If the drives are connected to the LFF/SFF drive SATA port, use the
Marvell Storage Utility on page
63
or the
Marvell BIOS Utility on page 64.
If the drives are connected to an HPE Smart HBA or Smart Array controller option, use the
HPE
Smart Storage Administrator on page 63.
Install the LFF drive
Prerequisites
Before you perform this procedure, make sure that you have the following items available:
T
-15 Torx screwdriver
LFF drive option
Procedure
1. Remove four drive screws from the front panel.
2. Install the screws in the drive.
