Changing your notification sound
You can select a preset sound, use a sound file, or record and use your voice as the notification
sound.
Make sure the volume is on.
1. From the Home screen, tap Settings Sound & vibration.
2. Tap Default notification sound.
3. Do one of the following:
§ Select a preset sound.
§ Tap Add notification. Then find and select the sound file you want to use.
You can also tap Sound Recorder to record your voice. After saving the file, select the
voice recording.
4. When you're done selecting your notification sound, tap OK.
Turning touch sounds and vibration on and off
Some people like the sound or vibration feedback they get when touching the screen, and some
don't. You can turn on or off various types of touch sounds and vibration on HTC U24 pro.
1. From the Home screen, tap Settings Sound & vibration.
2. You can turn on or off any of the following:
§ Dial pad tones
§ Screen locking sound
§ Charging sounds and vibration
§ Tap & click sounds
Turning keyboard sound and vibration on or off
Here's how to turn on or off the sound and vibration feedback in Gboard:
1. Form the Home screen, tap Settings
System Keyboard.
2. Tap On-screen keyboard Gboard Preferences.
3. Under Key press, you can do any of the following:
§ Turn Sound on keypress on or off. If it's turned on, you can set the sound volume.
§ Turn Haptic feedback on keypress on or off. If it's turned on, you can set the vibration
strength.
