5.2 Fire Extinguishing System Commissioning (3C)
Prerequisites
● The
re alarm control panel has been powered on.
● The management system is working properly.
● Before commissioning the re extinguishing system, disconnect all control
cables to the electromagnetic valve of the
re extinguisher cylinder to avoid
extinguishant release and damage to equipment due to misoperations during
the commissioning. After the commissioning is completed, reconnect cables to
the electromagnetic valve.
● Do not remove the safety pin before the
re extinguishing system is
commissioned; otherwise, extinguishant may be released by mistake.
● To avoid damaging the detector probe, keep a proper distance between the
heating device and the heat detector.
Preparations
Tools: multimeter, smoke pistol, heating device, Phillips screwdriver, at-head
screwdriver
Documents: re extinguishing system conceptual diagram (standard), re
extinguishing device layout diagram (standard)
Skill requirement: re engineer

Procedure
Step 1 Press and hold the ON/OFF key on the encoder for 1 second to start the encoder.
Step 2 Press # to switch the mode. When 324 is displayed on the screen, use a dedicated
external connection cable to connect the terminal device and set the address code
for the device on the bus.
