Managing the Zones/Subgroups
Zone
In conventional mode, a zone is a group of channels within the same operational area.
Tap or , and then tap Zone. You can do either of the following:
Switching the channel

Select the zone folder.

Tap to set the channel as the current channel.
Editing the channel
a.
Tap the channel, and then tap to do either of the following:
For the digital channel, edit Roam list, Scan list, Contact, RX group list, and TX power.
For the analog channel, edit Scan list, TX power, and Squelch level.

Tap .
Subgroup
In trunking mode, a subgroup consists of multiple groups or private contacts.
To switch the current contact, do as follows:
Tap or , and then tap Subgroup.
Tap the subgroup.
Tap to set the contact as the current contact.

The radio displays the search results below the search box.
