5.5.3 Voice w/Location
The Voice w/Location feature allows the radio to report its location to the dispatch station or trunking system
when the radio user initiates a private call, a group call, or an emergency call.
To enable or disable this feature, tap , and then tap Voice with location under the Call settings pane.
5.5.4 Call Location
During a call, if the transmitting radio is enabled with the Voice w/Location and Call Location features, the
receiving radio can display the location of the transmitting radio when its user taps . The radio can
obtain or send location in the call location interface.
To enable or disable this feature, tap , and then tap Call Location under the Call settings pane.
5.5.5 Talker Alias
With the Talker Alias feature enabled by your dealer, the radio sends the alias to the called party when the
radio user initiates a call. Therefore, the called party can identify your identity or add you as a contact.
Tap .
Under the Call settings pane, tap Talker alias.
Do either of the following:
To enable or disable the feature, tap Send talker alias.
To automatically add the talker alias to the contact list, enable Auto-add contacts.
5.5.6 Speed Dial
Tap .
Under the Call settings pane, tap Speed Dial.
Link the numbers (1–9) with contacts.
Tap .
Open the Dialer, and then touch and hold a number in the dialer to initiate a call to linked contact.
When the numeric buttons is not related with contacts, you can touch and hold the numeric
buttons to link a contact with it.
