Make sure call participants are within

The battery voltage may be
low.
Recharge or replace the battery.
The volume may be low.
Increase the volume or contact your
local dealer to turn the Mic AGC feature
off.
The antenna may be loosened
or installed improperly.
Turn the radio off, and then remove and
reattach the antenna.
The speaker may be blocked or
damaged.
Clean the external surface of the
speaker.
You cannot
communicate with group
members.
The frequency or signaling type
may be inconsistent with that
of other members.
Make sure your TX/RX frequency and
signaling type are correct.
The channel type
(digital/analog) may be set
inconsistently.
Make sure all members are on the same
digital/analog channel.
You may be too far away from
the group members.
Move towards other members.
The signal may be weak.
Make sure all members are within the
communication range.
You hear unknown voices
or sounds.
You may be interrupted by
radios using the same
frequency.
Change the frequency, or adjust the
squelch level.
The radio may be set with no
signaling.
Set signaling for all radios operating at
the same frequency to avoid
interference.
