24XX Video Error 1. Make sure the monitor cables are correctly and securely connected to the
tower. For instructions on connecting the monitor, refer to the Read me first
book.
2. If a video adapter card is installed, make sure it is installed correctly. For
instructions on installing adapter cards, see “Adding and removing adapter
cards” on page 80. For installation information specific to the adapter card,
refer to the documentation that came with the adapter card.
3. If the error continues, remove the video adapter card. If removing the card
corrects the error, replace the card with a new one.
2462 Video Configuration Error 1. Make sure the monitor cables are correctly and securely connected to the
tower. For instructions on connecting the monitor, refer to the Read me first
book.
2. If you installed a video adapter card, press Enter while the error message is
displayed. This starts the Setup Utility. See “Viewing video configuration”
on page 35 for information to help you verify that the settings for the video
controller and video memory are correct. If the settings are correct, save
when you exit the Setup Utility. If the settings are not correct, or if settings
changed that were not supposed to change, see the HelpWare book for
information on obtaining service.
