- Unscrew the cover plates from the coupling of the cutter drive and on the hose package.
- Visual control of the O-rings in the coupling of the cutter drive.
Connect the couplings so that the notch marks are aligned to each other! Bolt the cutter
drive with the hose package using the two cover bolts on the hose package connector.
- Check the required cutting tool for imbalance (e. g. missing blades! If OK, then fasten
the cutting tool (see 2.11.2 Cutting tool replacement)!
WARNING! Damaged or not to the device adapted cutting tool extensions, wire
brushes or other tools can cause serious damages to the device.
- If applicable, fill the water tank (optional) on the drum with distilled water (the air supply
from the compressor must be switched OFF or the shut-off valve on the frame must be
CLOSED)! For that, open the ball valve at the water tank, fill the tank and close the ball
valve again. The filling level is shown by the transparent hose on the water tank.
WARNING! Don´t lean over the charging hole while opening the ball valve. The tank
is under pressure.
