3.1 Right-Hand Door
Description
The right-hand door covers the media compartment, which contains the
print mechanism, the transfer ribbon mechanism, the media supply, and—
optionally—the rewinder. The door is fi tted to the center section using two
hinges and can be opened 180° to facilitate ribbon and media load.
The door assembly consists of a hinged door to which the top right panel
is fi tted using four screws. A clear plastic inspection window is glued the
inside of the door. A media and ribbon load instructions label is fi tted
inside the top part of the door.
Replacement
The door assembly is available as a complete unit. The hinges are attached
to the center section using a total of 4 screws (not included).
The top/right panel can be replaced separately and is attached to the door
using a total of four screws (not included).
