Belt Splicing System v.2.0

Belt end wavy or curved
Repeat belt end preparation with attention to the following.
Cut technique Make several identical, scoring cuts, NOT one deep cut.
Hold blade vertically against Cut Guide Edge for entire cut.
Trim tool wear/damage Inspect knife for blade damage/wear. Repair/replace as needed.
Cut Guide wear Check Cut Guide Edge for curves or waves. Contact Intralox Technical Support for equipment
damage.
Belt end diagonal (i.e., not parallel to drive bars)
Repeat belt end preparation with attention to the following.
Cut technique Make several identical, scoring cuts, NOT one deep cut.
Alignment problem Clean any debris from belt ends.
Clear debris from grooves in Deck and Cut Guide.
Check drive bar engagement before securing belt ends.
For S8126 belts, see S8126 BELT SPECIFICS on page 14-1.
Belt moved during cut Clean any debris from belt ends.
Clear debris from grooves in Deck and Cut Guide.
Engage drive bars in Cut Guide or Grooved Deck before securing.
Fully secure belt to Clamping Fixture.
For S8126 belts, see S8126 BELT SPECIFICS on page 14-1.
Belt end has jagged cut
Repeat belt end preparation with attention to the following.
Trim tool wear/damage Inspect knife for blade damage/wear. Repair/replace as needed.
Cut technique Begin cut at belt edge (not on belt).
Cut full width of belt each time.
