Changing the Coolant
!MCAUTION
Keep your face away from the cylinder block tap and
the radiator drain plug when you drain the system.
MD-3-1-6
1 Get access to the engine. Refer to Access Panels,
Engine Cover. Allow the engine to cool.
2 Carefully and slowly remove the radiator cap allowing
any trapped pressure to escape.
3 Undo the plug B on the cylinder block and let the
coolant drain out. Remove the bottom radiator hose C
by unfastening at clip D and let the coolant drain out.
Make sure the drain hole is not blocked.

4 Flush the system with clean water if necessary.
