SECTION 5 - DISPLAY MESSAGES
Secondary Oil Pressure Low Alarm
This message is displayed when the oil supply pressure
is less than 20 PSID.
Secondary Oil Pressure Low Trip
This message is displayed when the oil supply pressure
is less than 15 PSID.
Secondary Oil Pressure High Alarm
This message is displayed when the oil supply pressure
is greater than 85 PSID.
Secondary Oil Pressure Trip
This message is displayed when the oil supply pressure
is greater than 90 PSID.
Secondary Oil Pressure Sensors Will Not Zero
This message is generated when the Oil Pressure Sen-
sors will not zero. Check the wiring and Sensor to see
if there is faulty connections. If the Oil Pressure Sensor
continues to not zero, replace the sensor.
PRIMARY SOLID STATE STARTER
FAULT MESSAGES
Pri SSS Fault: Phase Loss
A single-cycle phase loss is detected on any individual
phase as detected at TB10. To be detected, the line-to-
line voltage must drop to below 30% of the nominal
value. This fault only occurs when the motor is run-
ning, it is ignored when the motor is stopped.
Pri SSS Fault: Starter Disconnect
There is a micro-switch mounted on a cam attached
to the main power disconnect or isolation switch. This
micro-switch advises the controller board of the status
of this isolation switch. If this switch provides indica-
tion that the main power disconnect was opened while
the motor was running, this fault will be generated.
Pri SSS Fault: Power Fault
Undercurrent, one of the phases has dropped below
10% FLA for 2 cycles, or Motor Current dropped to
below 25% FLA for 1/2 second while running.
Pri SSS Fault: Run Signal Malfunction
This message is generated when both hard-wired and
serial run commands were NOT present within 5 sec-
onds.
Pri SSS Fault: Current Imbalance
Current Imbalance, greater than 30% difference be-
tween phases for 45 seconds. This fault is inhibited for
the first 45 seconds, and when motor current is below
80% FLA.
Pri SSS Fault: Current Overload
The highest phase of the compressor motor current in-
creased to greater than 105% of the programmed 100%
chiller Full Load Amps continuously for 40 seconds.
The chiller can be started after the COMPRESSOR
switch is placed in the Stop.Reset (O) position.
Pri SSS Fault: High Instantaneous Current
The starter has detected a single sample of motor cur-
rent which is in excess of the starters maximum rating.
Pri SSS Fault: High Line Voltage
The incoming line voltage has exceeded the threshold
as detected at the signal applied to the Controller board
at TB10. The threshold is as follows:
4160 Volt Starters – 4713 VAC
