Discharge Superheat
Displays the discharge superheat. This value is calcu-
lated by subtracting the condenser saturation tempera-
ture (PE-113) from the compressor discharge tempera-
ture (TE-112).
Liquid Injection (LED)
Illuminates when liquid injection solenoid is energized
(provided by FCV-113A).
Vane Motor Switch (LED)
Illuminates when the Vane Motor Switch contacts are
closed (provided by PRV Closed Limit Switch ZS-
100A).
PRV Motor Opening (LED)
Illuminates when the Primary Compressor Pre-rota-
tional Vanes are in the process of opening (provided
by TCV-100A).
PRV Motor Closing (LED)
Illuminates when the Primary Compressor Pre-rota-
tional Vanes are in the process of closing (provided by
TCV-100A).
Pri PRV Postion
Displays the Primary Compressors PRV open position
percentage (provided by ZS-100A).
Thrust Prox Differential
Displays the distance between the high-speed thrust
collar and the tip of the proximity probe. This mea-
surement takes into account the reference position es-
tablished at the time of compressor manufacture (pro-
vided by ZE-142A).
Oil Pump Frequency
Displays operating frequency at which Oil Pump is
commanded to run (provided by PWM1).
Primary Motor Load
Displays the motor current as a percentage of the Full
Load Amps (FLA) value.
System Head
Displays the chiller head pressure calculated as (con-
denser pressure – evaporator pressure).
Calculated Gas Flow
Displays the volumetric flow rate of refrigerant through
the primary compressor calculated from suction condi-
tions and compressor power. This value is used as in-
put to determine whether the economizer compressor
should be started or stopped for the economizing mode
of chiller operation.
Primary Runtime
Displays the most recent runtime for the Primary Com-
pressor.
PROGRAMMABLE
Auto / Manual
Access Level Required: OPERATOR
This key returns the Pre-rotational Vane control to au-
tomatic or manual mode. When the Auto/Manual key
is grey the control is set to Auto, and if they key is red
the control is manual.
Open (Manual)
Access Level Required: OPERATOR
This key sends an open command to the vanes. The
Vanes will increase 1% for each depress, hold for re-
peat.
Close (Manual)
Access Level Required: OPERATOR
This key sends a close command to the vanes. The
Vanes will decrease 1% for each depress, hold for re-
peat.
NAVIGATION
Previous
Returns the display to the previous screen.
Prox Calibrate
Access Level Required: SERVICE
Only available if the chiller is stopped. Moves to the
sub-screen allowing calibration of the High Speed
Thrust Bearing Proximity Probe Sensor.
PRV Calibrate
Access Level Required: OPERATOR
