REGISTER ADDITIONAL SCENES
Repeat steps 4 7 (_-T_ pg. 62).
• To change previously registered points, press
CANCEL on tile remote control. Tile
registered points disappear, one at a time,
from the most recently registered point.
• If you're not using Fade/Wipe or P.AE/Effects,
repeat steps 4 and 5 only.
PREPARESOURCETAPE
Rewind the tape in tile camcorder to the
beginning of the scene you want to edit and
)ress the Pause button (gll).
ENGAGE VCR'S RECORD-PAUSE
MODE
Point the relTiote control towards the V(R's
remote sensor and press VCR REC STBY, fir
manually engage the V(R's Record-Pause
mode.
START EDITING
Press tile START/STOP button on the
camcrlrder. Editing proceeds as programmed,
right through to the end of the last registered
scene.
Pressing START/STOP on the remote control
does not start editing.
When dubbing is complete, the camcorder
enters tile Pause mode, and the recrlrder
enters its Record-Standby mode.
• If you don't registeR an Edit-Out point, the
tape will be dubbed all the way to the end
a utomatically.
STOP EDITING
Engage the Stop modes for the camcorder and
the V(R.
To rnal<e the R.A. Edit counter display disap-
[)eaR, press R.A. EDIT ON/OFF on the remote
control.
NOTES:
• Pressing R.A. EDIT ON/OFF _n the rem_4e control clear_ all settings registered during Rand_m Assemble
Editing.
• _Yhen the editirlg cable is corlnected to the Pause terminal during dubbing, make sure the remote control
is pointed at the VCRq sensor, and that the path between the two is unobstructed.
• It_ during Random Assemble Editing, y_u press any button on the camcordet, its Record-Standby mode is
automatically engaged.
• Rarldom Assemble Editin_ may not function pr_)perly when using a tape inchlding several duplicated time
dk>des. (_ / p_. 21).
