Default Settings for MEASure?
With the MEASure? queries, you can select the function, range and resolution in one command. All other para-
meters are set to their default values as defined in Factory Reset State.
Using the MEASure? Query
Example 1 - Using default range and default resolution
Configures DC voltage measurements, internally triggers the instrument to take a measurement, and reads the
measurement. Without specifying any range and resolution, default range (autorange) and default resolution (10
PLC) are used for the measurement.
MEAS:VOLTDC?
Typical response: +4.23450000E-03
Example 2 - Using specific range and specific resolution
Configures the instrument for 2-wire resistance measurements, triggers the instrument to take a measurement,
and reads the measurement. The 1 kΩ range is selected with 0.1 Ω resolution.
MEAS:RES? 1000,0.1
Typical response: +3.27150000E+02
