Measuring DC voltage
Set up the multimeter to measure DC voltage as shown in Figure 2-2. Probe the
test points and read the display.

CAUTION
For measuring AC voltage signals with a DC offset, refer to the
“Measuring AC and DC Signals (U1252B only)” on page 53.
For measuring DC voltage from a mixed signal in DC measurement mode,
ensure that the Filter is enabled (Refer to “Setting the Filter” on
page 125).
To avoid possible electric shock or personal injury, enable the Low Pass
Filter to verify the presence of hazardous DC voltages. Displayed DC
voltage values can be influenced by high frequency AC components and
must be filtered to assure an accurate reading.
