Power factor (PF)
The power factor is the ratio of the active power with respect to the apparent power.
It indicates the level of degradation in the efficiency caused by the phase difference
between the AC voltage and AC current.
Form factor
The form factor is the ratio of the rms value with respect to the average value.
Crest factor (CF)
The crest factor is the ratio of the rms value with respect to the peak value (crest
value) of the waveform.
The crest factor is 1.41 for sine waves.
