10.1 Service schedule
Every 50 operating hours
Every 20 operating hours after sporting use
Once after 1 operating hour
Read out the fault memory using the KTM diagnostics tool.
Check that the electrical equipment is functioning properly. (Freeride EXC)
Check and charge the 12 V battery.
Check and recharge the KTM PowerPack.
Check the front brake linings. ( p. 74)
Check the rear brake linings. ( p. 78)
Check the brake discs. ( p. 72)
Check the brake lines for damage and leakage.
Check the frame and swingarm.
Check the heim joints at the top and bottom of the shock absorber.
Check the tire condition. ( p. 84)
Check the tire air pressure. ( p. 84)
Check the wheel bearing for play.
Check the wheel hubs.
Check the rim run-out.
Check the spoke tension. ( p. 85)
Check the chain, rear sprocket, motor sprocket, and chain guide. ( p. 68)

Grease all moving parts (e.g., side stand, hand lever, chain, ...) and check for smooth operation.
