13.11 Adjusting the free travel of the rear brake lever (Freeride EXC)

Adjust the free travel of the rear brake lever with adjusting screw
.
Info
Turn the adjusting screw clockwise to reduce free travel. The pressure point
moves away from the handlebar.
Turn the adjusting screw counterclockwise to increase free travel. The pres-
sure point moves towards the handlebar.
The range of adjustment is limited.
Only turn the adjusting screw by hand, and do not use force.
Do not make any adjustments while riding.
13.12 Checking the rear brake fluid level
Warning
Danger of accidentsBrake system failure.
If the brake fluid level drops below the specified marking or the specified value, this is an indication that the brake system
is leaking or that the brake linings are completely worn down. Check the brake system and do not continue riding. (Your
authorized KTM workshop will be glad to help.)

Change the brake fluid of the front and rear brake according to the service schedule. (Your authorized KTM workshop will

Avoid contact with skin and eyes, and keep out of the reach of children.
Wear suitable protective clothing and goggles.
If brake fluid comes into contact with the eyes, flush the eyes thoroughly with water and consult a physician immediately.
