Using a coin, turn protection cap
all the way counterclockwise and remove it.
–
Remove speedometer battery

– Insert the new battery with the label facing outward.

– Check the O-ring of the protection cap for correct seating.

Position protection cap
and turn all the way clockwise using a coin.
– Press any button on the speedometer.
The speedometer is activated.
– Position the speedometer in the holder.
– Mount and tighten the screws with washers.
Finishing work
– Refit the headlight mask with the headlight. ( p. 90)
– Install the KTM PowerPack. ( p. 94)
– Lock the seat. ( p. 63)
– Check the headlight setting. ( p. 92)
– Set the speedometer. ( p. 29)
