The printer is equipped with a maintenance function which can be used to maintain and service the machine.

1. Press the MENU key.
Message display
To print a status page for service purpose.
To print an event log (EVENT LOG)
(Displayed when FRPO I1 is set to 1)
To set paper feed operation as printer driver
priority mode.
To initialize the developer unit. (toner install mode)
To perform a main charger wire cleaning.
To perform a drum refreshing.
2. Press the cursor up/down keys several
times until [Others >] is displayed.
Service mode items
3. Press the cursor right key.
5. Press the cursor right key.
4. Press the cursor up/down keys several
times until [>Service >] is displayed.
To scroll these items,
press the cursor up/down keys repeatedly.
