Adjusting the amount of slack in the paper
Description
Adjusts the amount of slack in the paper.
Purpose
Make the adjustment if the leading edge of the copy image is missing or varies randomly, or if the copy paper
is Z-folded.
Adjustment
1. Press the start key. The screen for selecting an item is displayed.
2. Select Plain or Thick on the touch panel.
3. Select the item to be adjusted.
4. Press the interrupt key.
5. Place an original and press the start key to make a test copy.
6. Change the setting value using the cursor up/down keys.
For output example 1, increase the value. For output example 2, decrease the value.
The greater the value, the larger the deflection; the smaller the value, the smaller the deflection.

7. Press the start key. The value is set.
Completion
Press the stop/clear key at the screen for selecting an item.
The screen for selecting a maintenance item No. is displayed.
