140 IEEE 802.1X Authentication Setting
Setting EAP-TLS
The CA certificate and user certificate must be installed in this equipment before performing settings for IEEE 802.1X
authentication. For instructions on how to install the certificates, refer to the COMMAND CENTER Guide.

Select [EAP-TLS] and press [Next].
The WIRED 802.1X SETTINGS (EAP-TLS) screen is displayed.

Specify the following items as required and press [Next].
[EAP-USER NAME] — Press this button to enter the EAP-User name.
Use Username from Common Name in the User Certificate — Press [ENABLE] to use a common name in the
user certificate as the EAP-User name.
When you enable the [Use Username from Common Name in the User Certificate] option, any user name
cannot be manually entered to the [EAP-USER NAME] box.
When you press [EAP-USER NAME], the on-screen keyboard is displayed. Enter a value using the keyboard
and digital keys, and press [OK] to set the entry.
