6.2 Cab access steps
(Kreos 8002, 8009, 8012)
On the Kreos 8002, 8009, 8012 there are two steps to
facilitate left and right door cab access.
The opening and closing of the steps is automatic at the
opening and closing of the doors.
6.2.1 In case of malfunction
In case of malfunction, with the step blocked in open
position, proceed as follows to manually move the step
to its closing position, then contact one of Laika autho-
rised workshops.
1) Insert a screwdriver or other suitable tool inside of
the hole (a) located under the step and push until the
step unlocks.
2) Manually push the step to its closure position.

Overload protection is ensured by a fuse in the step
control unit, which stops power supply if an
excessive load is applied to the step during its
movement.
NOTE
Do not go up or down the step while it is moving.

Always proceed with care when climbing up and out:
the step may be slippery.
