USER’S GUIDE
Read the producer’s handbook carefully.
Always maintain open the aeration provided for
air recycle.
Disconnect the power supply before connecting or
disconnecting to the battery.
Minimise the drawing of current while the battery
is being recharged (excessive absorption extends
charging times and the battery could be
damaged).
If the power cable or the connection terminals to
the battery are damaged, they must be replaced
with similar items available from the manufac-
turer or the technical service.
Before connecting the power supply of the battery
charger to a power unit, make sure that the 230 V
output of the latter is stabilised.
THINGS TO DO
Do not insert any metal object or other wire in the
air vent slots of the power supply.
Do not obstruct the air intakes on the cover.
Disconnect the 230 V and 12 V power supply
before performing maintenance works.
THINGS TO AVOID
On the Ecovip series - except for DS models - the
power supply/battery charger is reached from the
outside through a door located on the left side wall,
front area. On the Ecovip DS models and Kreos
series the power supply/battery charger is installed
inside the settee behind the right cabin seat.
NOTE
The battery charger can supply a maximum voltage
of 14.1 V with selector (d) on "A", of 14.4 V with
selector (d) on "B" and of 14,7 with selector (d) on
“C”. Refer to the documentation provided by the
manufacturer of the battery to be installed to make
sure it is compatible with the battery charger.
NOTE
If installing a second auxiliary battery or optional
equipment powered at 12 V, it is recommended to
install an additional power supply.
NOTE
Warranty is void in case of improper use and the
manufacturer shall not not be liable for damages to
goods or people.
