hardwareonthiscomputer,selectthedriverthatyouwanttoinstall,andthenclickNexttoinstall
thedriver.
10.Inthe“WheredoyouwanttoinstallStorageServer?”window,clickDrive0UnallocatedSpace(or
Driveoptions(advanced)intheUEFImode).Then,clickNew.
11.Typetheamountofspace(inMB),andthenclickApply.
12.IntheWindowsStorageServerSetupwindow,clickOK.
13.Ensurethatthedrivepartitioniscorrect,andthenclickNext.Theinstallationbegins.
Note:Theserverrestartsseveraltimesduringtheinstallation.
14.WhentheSettingswindowisdisplayed,setanadministratorpasswordandclickFinish.When
prompted,followtheinstructionsonthescreentologintotheoperatingsystem.
Installingthedriverforchipset
Toinstallthedriverforchipset,dothefollowing:
1.DownloadthedriverforchipsetfromtheLenovoWebsite.Ifthedriverisacompressedfile,unzipittoa
folder.Themostup-to-datedevicedriversforvariousservermodelsarealwaysavailablefordownload
ontheLenovoWebsiteat:
http://www.lenovo.com/drivers
2.CopythefolderthatcontainsthedrivertoyourUSBstoragedeviceandconnecttheUSBstorage
devicetoyourserver.
3.Openthefolderthatcontainsthedriveranddouble-clicktheSetupfile.
4.Inthe“WelcometotheSetupProgram”,clickNext.
5.IntheLicenseAgreementwindow,clickYes.
6.IntheReadmeFileInformationwindow,clickNext.Theinstallationbegins.
Note:Ifthe“Wouldyouliketoinstallthisdevicesoftware?”windowisdisplayed,selectAlwaystrust
softwarefromIntel-Corp-ChipsetINF,andclickInstall.
7.IntheSetupProgresswindow,clickNext.
8.IntheSetupIsCompletewindow,clickFinish.
Note:If“Yes,Iwanttorestartthiscomputernow”isdisplayed,SelectYes,Iwanttorestartthis
computernow..Then,clickFinishtorestartyourserver.
Installingthedriverfortheonboardgraphicscard
Toinstallthedriverfortheonboardgraphicscard,dothefollowing:
