ToinstalltheRedHatEnterpriseLinuxAS5.10(x64orx86)operatingsystem,dothefollowing:
1.Inserttheoperatingsysteminstallationdiscintotheopticaldrivethatyouhavesetasthefirststartup
device.Then,starttheserverfromtheopticaldrive.
2.WhentheRedHatEnterpriseLinux5windowisdisplayed,typelinuxdd(foradd-onRAIDconfiguration)
orlinuxddblacklist=ahci,iscinodmraid(foronboardRAIDconfiguration)afterboot:,andthenpress
Enter.
3.IntheDriverdiskwindow,selectYesandpressEnter.
4.IntheInsertDriverDiskwindow,selectOKandpressEnter.
Note:Ifdriverdiskoptionsaredisplayed,selectadesireddriverdisk,selectOK,andpressEnter.
5.IntheMoreDriverDiskswindow,selectNo.
6.IntheCDFoundwindow,selectOKtochecktheinstallationmediaorselectSkiptoskipthecheck.
7.Whentheinstallationwelcomewindowisdisplayed,clickNext.
8.SelectadesiredlanguageandpressEnter.
9.SelectadesiredkeyboardlayoutforthesystemandpressEnter.
10.Whenpromptedtotypetheinstallationnumber,typeyourinstallationnumberintheInstallation
NumberfieldandthenclickOK.Theinstallationnumberenablestheautomaticinstallationofsome
softwareprogramssuchasthestorageclusteringprogramsandthevirtualizationprograms.

•Ifthe“InstallRedHatEnterpriseLinuxServer”windowisdisplayed,selectadesiredoptionandthen
