ToinstalltheRedHatEnterpriseLinuxAS6.4(x64)operatingsystem,dothefollowing:
1.Inserttheoperatingsysteminstallationdiscintotheopticaldrivethatyouhavesetasthefirststartup
device.Then,starttheserverfromtheopticaldrive.
2.Pressanykeytostarttheinstallation.IntheGNUGRUBversion0.97window,selectRedHat
EnterpriseLinux6.4andpressEnter.
3.IntheDiscFoundwindow,configurethesettingsandpressEnter.
4.Intheinstallationwindow,clickNext.
5.SelectthelanguagethatyouwanttouseduringtheinstallationprocessandclickNext.
6.SelecttheappropriatekeyboardlayoutforthesystemandclickNext.
7.SelectthetypeofdevicesfortheinstallationandthenclickNext.

8.Typeanameforyourserver.Then,clickNext.
9.Specifyyourtimezonebyselectingthenearestcityinyourtimezone.Then,clickNext.
10.Personalizetheserverbytypingtherootpasswordfortherootuseraccount.Then,clickNext.

11.Selectthetypeofinstallationyouneed,andthenclickNext.Thefollowingstepsarebasedonthe

12.Ifthe“Belowarethestoragedevices”windowisdisplayed,movetheRAIDorharddiskdrivesfrom
theDataStorageDeviceslisttotheInstallTargetDeviceslist.SelecttheRAIDorharddiskdrives
