1.DownloadthedrivertheLenovoSupportWebsite.Ifthedriverisacompressedfile,unzipittoafolder.
Themostup-to-datedevicedriversforvariousservermodelsarealwaysavailablefordownloadonthe
LenovoSupportWebsiteat:
http://www.lenovo.com/drivers
2.CopythefolderthatcontainsthedrivertoaUSBstoragedeviceandconnecttheUSBstoragedeviceto
yourserver.
3.LogintotheoperatingsystemandcopythefolderfromyourUSBstoragedevicetothe/tmpdirectory
onyourserver.
4.Usethefollowingcommandstoinstallthedriver:
cd/tmp
cd/elx-lpfc-dd-rhel7-10.2.340.0
./elx_lpfc_install.sh

necessary.Then,copythedriverstoaUSBstoragedeviceorburnthedriverstoadisc.

theLenovoWebsiteandfollowtheinstructionstoinstallthedrivers.
2.Inserttheoperatingsysteminstallationdiscintotheopticaldrivethatyouhavesetasthefirststartup
device.Then,starttheserverfromtheopticaldrive.
3.SelectInstallRedHatEnterpriseLinux7.1andpressEnter.
4.SelectthelanguagethatyouwanttouseduringtheinstallationprocessandclickContinue.
5.Configurethedate,time,language,andkeyboardlayoutforthesystem.
6.IntheINSTALLATIONSUMMARYwindow,clickSOFTWARESELECTION,andthenselectthesoftware
thatyouwanttoinstall.
