ToinstallthedriverforanHBAcard,dothefollowing:
1.CopytheHBAcarddriverfromtheThinkServerEasyStartupDVDtoyourlocaldrive.Double-clickthe
EXEfiletounzipittoafolder.CopythefoldertoaUSBstoragedeviceandconnecttheUSBstorage
devicetoyourserver.
2.LogintotheoperatingsystemandcopythefolderfromtheUSBstoragedevicetothe/tmpdirectory
onyourserver.
3.Usethefollowingcommandstoinstallthedriver:
•ForLPe1250(single-portFC8G),LPe12002(dual-portFC8G),andLPe16002B(dual-portFC16G)

cd/tmp

Notes:
–Ifthefileextensionisnot.tar.gz,skipthesecondcommand.
–Inthecommandlines,elx-lpfc-dd-rhel6-8.3.7.18-1-1representsthenameofthefolderwherethe
driverisstored.installrepresentsthedrivername.Usethecorrespondingfilenameonyourserver.
•For5QLE2562(dual-portFC8G)and7QLE2562(dual-portFC8G)HBAcards:
cd/tmp
cd/qla2xxx-8.04.00.15.5.6-k
./install
Note:Inthecommandlines,qla2xxx-8.04.00.15.5.6-krepresentsthenameofthefolderwherethe
driverisstored.installrepresentsthedrivername.Usethecorrespondingfilenameonyourserver.
4.Restartyourserverandtheinstallationiscompleted.
InstallingthedriverforaCNAcard
ToinstallthedriverforaCNAcard,dothefollowing:
1.CopythedriverforaCNAcardfromtheThinkServerEasyStartupDVDtoyourlocaldrive.Double-click
theEXEfiletounzipittoafolder.CopythefoldertoaUSBstoragedeviceandconnecttheUSB
storagedevicetoyourserver.
2.LogintotheoperatingsystemandcopythefolderfromtheUSBstoragedevicetothe/tmpdirectory
onyourserver.
