Step 2. Align the rear backplane with the rear hot-swap drive cage and lower it into the rear hot-swap drive
cage.

Step 3. Connect the cables to the backplane. See “2.5-inch/3.5-inch drive backplane (power)” on page 65
and “2.5-inch/3.5-inch drive backplane (signal)” on page 66.
Step 4. Install the air baffle into the rear hot-swap drive cage as shown.

Step 5. Connect the cables to the system board or expansion slots. See “2.5-inch/3.5-inch drive backplane
