3.1 Application as directed
The communication module ...
• by remote maintenance is used for the parameterisation or programming, commissioning and
diagnostics of the applicable Lenze devices;
• is suitable
for the transmission of IEC61131 programs, application data (such as profile data)
and parameter data;
• is a device intended for use in industrial power systems;
• should only be used under the operating conditions prescribed in this documentation.
Simultaneous access from 2 PCs on the EMF2180IB communication module is not allowed.
Any other use shall be deemed inappropriate!
