4.6 Distance measurement to the barcode tape
Within the reading field, the BPS can output the current distance from the read head to the BCB. The dis-
tance from the position label closest to the reference point is output.
The distance measurement value is output in the webConfig tool via the ALIGNMENT function (Quality
menu), which is only available in the Service operating mode (see chapter 9.3.3 "ALIGNMENT function").
