Optional 500-Sheet Separator Pad/Lift Plate Assembly
Removal
1. Remove the optional 500-sheet tray from the feeder assembly.
2. Remove any paper in the tray and place the tray upside down on a table.
3. While holding the metal plate down, remove the three screws as shown in the
illustration.
4. Carefully lift the metal plate and remove it along with the three springs underneath.
5. Turn the tray over and depress the right side lift plate hinge to release the lift plate.
6. Remove the separator pad/lift plate assembly.
