Trackit setup software
The Trackit set up soft war e r uns under Micr osoft Windows 2000 (with SP2) , Windows XP, Windows
Vista or Windows 7 on the host PC and is used to set up and review t he Trackit Mk3 recorder for an
am bulat ory recording session.
The Trackit Mk3 recorder is connected t o the PC via t he connection cable or wirelessly wit h Blue-
toot h. The recording set up/ m ont age, and patient inform at ion/ I D is downloaded t o t he device, and a
short review is m ade t o verify that all t he elect rodes have been att ached correct ly.
The recorder is then disconnected from t he PC and the am bulat ory recording is st art ed.
Funct ions of t he set up sof t ware:
 Download the recording tem plate. This includes:
which elect rodes are t urned on or off;
the recording m ont age;
any t im ed recording m odes.
 Download the unique pat ient ident ifier onto t he card so that no confusion can arise as to whom
the recording belongs t o.
 Perform a calibrat ion of t he Trackit Mk3 device
 Synchronise t he Trackit Mk3 tim e and dat e t o t hat of t he host.
 Perform a routine EEG recording prior to t he pat ient’s am bulat ory EEG recording.
What does a recording consist of?
 2–36 channels of recorded EEG/ polygraphic signals
 Signals recorded over a period usually not less than 24 hours
 Patient event m arkers correlated in t im e wit h t he real tim e clock displayed on Trackit Mk3 LCD
display
 Data and result s stored to card for future evaluat ion
 Dat a review post- recording using any com pat ible EDF review program
