The Trackit Bluet ooth Module takes it s power from t he Trackit ’s m ain bat t eries. All the circuit ry has
been designed t o consum e as little power as possible and t o ut ilise low- power m odes whenever
possible, however cert ain part s of the m odule are always on in order that searches and connection
requests from ot her devices are serviced. I n t he tables below will be found an approxim ate indica-
tion of the reduct ion in bat t ery life according to t he Trackit m ain operating m odes.
The Trackit m odes are as follows :
1. Trackit I dle (not recording)
2. Trackit Acquire On (not recording) in Headbox m ode
3. Trackit Recording
4. Trackit recording wit h Ongoings on
The Bluet ooth m odes are as follows :

Generation Bluet ooth Module has a significantly longer range t han all t he earlier
m odules. The biggest benefit is achieved when a sim ilarly high- perform ance Bluet oot h device is
used at t he PC end of t he wireless link. The t ypical range figures here were obtained with t he fol-
lowing types of Bluetooth device inst alled in t he PC:
