Alt ernat ively, to stop the Trackit Mk3 recording in the field:
Eit h e r press t he butt on on the front panel and hold it for approxim at ely 5 seconds;
Or sim ply rem ove t he card and do not replace it. The idle tim e by default is only 5 m inut es and can
be set in increm ents up to 255 m inutes – see Advanced Sett ings, below.
5. 5 Identifying a recording
I t is not possible to record m ore than one test on a single card. This t est is uniquely ident ified by
the Pat ient I D ent ered during t he set up procedure, and
by t he user- definable file nam e.

There are also m iscellaneous controls for:
Set Tra ckit Tim e/ Da t e : if the Trackit Mk3 is not recording, this m anually set s t he Trackit ’s tim e
and dat e t o t hat of the PC. Not e: t his funct ion is norm ally done autom atically when recording is
st art ed.
Get Tr a ck it Set - u p: t his m anually ret rieves the setup from t he Trackit ’s m em ory and overwrites
the current ly loaded set up on t he PC. Not e: t his funct ion is norm ally done autom at ically whenever
the software detect s a m ism at ch bet ween t he Trackit ’s set up and t he PC setup.
Quie t On: if a host PC is connected, this tem porarily disables the warning beep if t he bat t ery door
is opened while t he Trackit Mk3 is t ur ned on. I t is autom at ically re-enabled aft er t he PC is discon-
nect ed.
Quie t Off: if a host PC is connected, t his re-enables the warning beep if t he bat t ery door is opened
while the Tr ackit Mk3 is t urned on.

Mk3 records its dat a. These set t ings include:
 Com pensat ion for DC offsets
 Adjust ing the idle and record t im e
 Enabling Aut o start m ode

To see t he available options under Advanced Operat ions:
1 Click on the Trackit Cont rol Panel in the Trackit t oolbar.
2 Click on Advanced Operat ions.
3 Click on Sett ings.
