Photic Stimulation
An opt ional Lifelines Phot ic St im ulator is available which can be used wit h the Tr ackit Mk3 to asses
pat ient phot osensitivit y in EEG st udies. For a det ailed description of operation, connect ion and
specifications please refer t o the separate docum entation “ Lifelines Phot ic User Manual” .

Click on t he Phot ic St im ulat ion icon in t he top toolbar t o bring up the Phot ic Stim ulat ion cont rol
panel, shown below.

This window allows single, m anual, sweep and com plex sequences of Photic stim ulat ion t o be pro-
duced. Photic st art / stop event s are recorded as shown above. By using t he Trigger out put from t he
Photic Stim ulator and connect ing to an Aux input on the Trackit Mk3, t he actual Photic flash ‘t icks’
are produced in t he recording.
