7.6. Service
The service parameters allow to configure the bar feed system in its environment and to
adapt the interface connected to the lathe. These parameters are protected with a password,
because only LNS (or certified) technician is authorized to modify them.
Bar feeder setup Allows to define and modify the bar feeder settings, like:
• mechanical configuration of the bar feeder
• opening/closing time of the clamping device
Interface To configure the interfacing signals between the lathe and the bar feeder, like :
• clamping device signal of the lathe
• loading device signal of the lathe
• relays states in the several phases of the production cycle;
• configuration of additional inputs
Special functions Access to special functions, like :
• Working mode (exhibition, simulation, etc.)
Parameter
masking
Allows to hide or show some menus if they are not useful to the operator.
• Clamping device reverse signal
