STARTING - LOAD
Alternator
K7J, and 710, and DIRECTION MANUELLE

REMOVAL
Remove:
-the accessories belt(s) (see 11A, Top and front of
engine, Accessories belt),
-the engine undertray.
Disconnect the wiring harnesses from the alternator.
Remove (from below):
-the mounting bolt (1),
-mounting bolt (2),
-the alternator.
REFITTING
Proceed in the reverse order to removal.
Refit the accessories belt(s) (see 11A, Top and
front of engine, Accessories belt),
Torque tighten:
- the alternator mounting bolt (2.1 daNm),
- the alternator mounting bolt (4.4 daNm).
Tightening torquesm

WARNING
Replace any belt that has been removed.
WARNING
When replacing the belt, be sure to replace the
tension wheels and idler pulleys.
