REMOVAL
Place the vehicle on a two-post lift.
Remove:
-the engine undertray,
-the bumper mounting bolts under the sub-frame.
Drain the engine oil.
Remove:
- the engine tie-bar,
- the front wheels,
- the lower ball joints,
- the catalytic converter (see 19B, Exhaust, Cataly-
tic converter),
- the two mounting bolts from the steering rack.
Attach the steering rack to the body.
Remove mounting bolt (1) of the power assisted
steering pipe on the top of the sub-frame.
