APPENDIX I: CONNECTING AUDIO
Use audio capable cameras (not included) to listen to, and record audio on the system*.
To connect audio:
1. Connect RCA audio cables from an audio capable camera(s) to the AUDIO I
N ports on the rear
panel of the system. The audio port should correspond to the matching VIDEO IN port (i.e.
Audio camera 1
should be connected to
Video In port 1
and
Audio In port 1
).
2. Connect an RCA audio out cable to the AUDIO OU
T port on the rear panel of the system.
3. Right-click anywhere on screen and select MAIN MENU.
4. Click REC
ORD.
5. Under AUDIO, select ENABLE.
6. Click APPLY and then click CLOSE in
the confirmation window.
To adjust volume:
1. From the MAIN MENU click BASIC.
2. Click VIDEO/AUDIO.
3.
Click VOLUME S
ETUP.
4. Click each channel and click and drag the volume slider to incr
ease/decrease the volume.
5. Click X to e
xit.
6. Click APPLY and then click CLOSE in
the confirmation window.
