1. Connect the included Octopus cable for the
following connections:
• Video Input (1–4): BNC input for connect-
ing cameras or wireless receivers.
• Video Output: BNC output for connecting
external or spot monitors.
Note
Use a BNC to RCA adapter (not in-
cluded) to connect the DVR to RCA in-
puts (i.e. for a TV connection).
• Audio Input (1–2): RCA input for connect-
ing audio-enabled cameras (not included)
or self-powered microphones (not
included).
• Audio Output: RCA output for connecting
speakers.
2. VGA: Connect a VGA monitor (not included) to
view the system interface.
3. HDMI: Connect to an HDMI monitor or TV (not
included) to view the system interface.
4. USB Port: Connect a USB mouse (included)
or USB flash drive (not included) for data
backup or firmware updates.
5. LAN: Connect a CAT 5 RJ45 Ethernet cable
(included) for local and remote connectivity.
6. RS485: Connect compatible PTZ cameras
(not included).
7. DC12V: Connect the included AC power
adapter.
